The Purpose of The Church
The purpose of the church is found in Ephesians 3:21: “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, amen.” This is accomplished by the perfecting of the saints (Ephesians 4:11-13), and by the preaching of the Gospel (Matthew 28:19-20). These purposes can only be fulfilled by a local visible entity.
