h. Conclusion

None of Calvin’s philosophy is biblically sound.  While he uses words and some precepts that have some biblical foundation, all of them are corrupted in his philosophy.  Second, this is not a historic Baptist position for true Baptists.  Calvin was an attorney, and he was very good at crafting arguments to win a case.  While his arguments can come across as logical, they are not theological.  There is great danger in accepting this philosophy, and we are sternly warned of God not to:

Colossians 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
